Massage therapists are increasingly providing massage therapy for clients at all stages of their cancer journey. This two-day workshop focuses on what the massage practitioner needs to know about cancer and medical treatment protocols in order to plan and implement appropriate and effective treatments. Participants will participate in group discussion of clinical scenarios. An overview of what the research literature says about massage therapy’s role in cancer care is also presented.
